CorPath Represents Healthcare on the List Dominated by Research, Industrial & Defense Robots
Corindus ranks as the 10th largest robotics company in Massachusetts as selected by the Boston Business Journal's research department and the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC). The CorPath Vascular Robotic System represents healthcare on the list dominated by research and defense and industrial robots.
According to MassTLC, the Bay State is home to more than 100 companies and 10 universities representing all segments of the robotics sector, with about 4,000 people employed in the field. To the Corindus team, these numbers are just another validation of our belief that precision, consistency and efficiency of robotic performance – particularly in dangerous working environments– will become even more valuable and widespread in the future. We are pleased CorPath has been recognized for its procedural precision as well as for increasing physician protection from exposure to ionizing radiation and the other occupation hazards in the cath lab.
CorPath is in good company – see the full list at the Journal’s website. We’ll be keeping an eye out for next year’s roster!
